We’re here to help, if its planning your route, choosing a campsite or simply knowing what to ask for – we can help.
- We want you to have a great trip and make happy memories along the way. Lets start by asking yourself a few questions: –
- Where do you want to go?
- Is there a certain place you’d like to see?
- How far are you wanting to travel?
- How many days is your holiday?
- Plan your route, think about how much time you’ll spend travelling between pick up, destination and drop off.
- Do you need to book ferry crossings? (make sure your costings are for a motorhome and not for a car, it’s more expensive).
- Are you wanting to book a busy campsite? Maybe entertainment for the kids, a quiet site for some well earned R&R or for someone a little more adventurous & experienced, what about wild camping?
- There are lots of great campsites out there. From the privately owned ones to the large commercial ones. Check what facilities they offer.
What time is check in and check out?
- Does your pitch have EHU? (Electric Hook Up) It’s better to have it if you can, most motorhomes have microwaves and electric plug sockets which need EHU to work.
- Does your pitch have it’s own water supply? If not just fill up the onboard tanks before you park up.
- Does the site have it’s own facilities like showers? Or are you using the motorhome facilities.

Campsite Clubs
iRoam Motorhomes are members of the two largest and major campsite clubs, which allow our customers great discounts and often access to certain sites only members can book. Click the icons at the bottom of the page if you want to visit their website.
Caravan and Motorhome Club
As an iRoam Motorhome Hire customer, you can have access to free temporary membership to the Caravan & Motorhome Club for the duration of your hire. You can then benefit from access to all the Club Campsites, Certified Locations, European Campsites and Crossings all at members discounted rates.

The Camping and Caravanning Club
iRoam Motorhomes are an approved member of the Camping and Caravanning Clubs Motorhome Hire Scheme, allowing all our hire customers access to members discounts of up to 30% off club sites.
